Frequently Asked Questions
Is this program right for my child's skill level?
Yes. FBC Athletics has a place for complete beginners through experienced travel and AAU players. We place your child on a team where they will be challenged, encouraged, and able to grow at their own pace.
What ages and grades can join FBC Athletics?
Our core programs are for players in 4th–8th grade (roughly ages 9–14). Within that range, we offer different teams and leagues (Team Hustle, Elite AAU, 3v3, and more) so your child can start at the right level and progress over time
How much does it cost, and do you offer payment plans?
Prices vary based on the team, grade, and level of competition. We provide payment plans and financial assistance because we believe that cost should never be a barrier for a child to participate. For specific pricing details, please reach out to us directly.
What is the time commitment for families?
Time commitment depends on the program. Younger and beginner teams usually have 2 practices plus 1 game per week. More competitive and Elite AAU teams practice more and travel to tournaments. We clearly outline schedules upfront so families can plan around school and other activities.
Will my child actually get playing time?
Yes. Especially at the younger levels, we emphasize development and confidence, not just winning. Coaches work to ensure every player gets meaningful minutes, learns the game, and feels part of the team, while still keeping games competitive.
What kind of coaches will be working with my child?
Our coaches are experienced, vetted, and background-checked. They are chosen for both basketball knowledge and their ability to teach, encourage, and model strong character. We expect them to communicate clearly with parents and create a positive, safe environment for every player
How do we get started if we still have questions?
You can explore our Programs page to see age groups, costs, and schedules. If you still have questions, you can contact us directly to talk with Coach Phil or a staff member, who will help you choose the best fit for your child before you register.
